So there is one thing that I said that I would try my hardest to work on this year and that is my arms. In most recent, seeing photos where I’m wearing a short sleeve shirt convinced me that it’s time that I pay attention to that area. I’m not fond of it.

So here is me with my own challenge to myself….a 20 day challenge to get rid of my underarm flab!! I started a bit of it today but it was a test to see how hard or not this challenge would be. I followed a Youtube video (I finally found after a few days of looking!) that I will use for my challenge.

This is the video…..

I can tell you right now that this is not going to be very easy for me but I am willing to get it done for the results at the end of the 20 days.

I might even post the results here if I feel I’ve made enough progress that I’m happy with.

Here is what my before photos look like of my arms. You can see where I need to lose the fat. I’ll be honest, I normally DO not post such personal issues like this online. But I figure it’s 2016 and I am 47 years old and it’s about time I change some things.

And the weird thing is…I’ve had these for a while now. They never used to bother me before because I guess, well gee, I don’t know why? I guess it’s because I like to wear tops and shirts that are sleeveless or short sleeved and when I start seeing photos that show how unfit I am in some areas, I don’t like it. And I like feeling good wherever I go.

I know we can’t stay young forever and our bodies will age as we climb the ladder of wisdom but, for now, I don’t want the flab there. Plain and simple. I don’t know how well I will do on this challenge because I’m not big on exercising. But like I said, it’s 2016! The worse that could happen is that I bomb the experience and quit after four days (no! lol) but we’ll just have to see.

I thought to myself after doing my test run that these exercises seem like peanuts when you are just watching the video but, OH!! No sirree, they are not! It may take you only 25 minutes to do but it’s 25 minutes of burn. So, I am looking forward to see just how far I can get in this challenge. I have never done any type of challenge in my life so this should be interesting.

I will also include some push-ups into my routine to finish off my daily routine. This routine will go great with my 15 minute yoga exercise that I do in the morning to start my day and to get the blood flowing. I love that exercise.

So, here is to my first challenge ever!!

And I will finish with this quote…..
