These days it is so important to pay attention to what we are thinking of. Why? Because we are constantly creating situations literally all day long. Okay, call me an out-of-the-box thinker but I’ve always believed there was more to life than we can actually hear and see. We are all Creators in our own lives. I know a lot of people would like to believe that their lives happen randomly or by fluke but I really don’t believe in that. At least not any more. I used to. But the depth of what this blog entails is that the things we cannot see upon the surface play a far bigger role than we can imagine. So what is that? Our beliefs. Our deep down beliefs that are hidden in our subconscious that we rarely ever look at. They are what drives the bus. Some years ago when my life wasn’t so great I went for therapy and I learned that our brains store information (very old information) in a part of our brains that our every day brain doesn’t even know about. When we start talking about our lives I believe we can awaken certain parts of our subconscious that need to surface. It’s not a mistake, it’s not a fluke. But it does say that we are consciously ready to open that part up. Nothing ever happens by mistake. There are no mistakes in life. This is the one thing I’ve come to know and feel about my very being. Now if you would have told me that fifteen years ago when I lost five people in my life in a matter of eighteen months (one that included a suicide), I would have shaken my head at you. But it was these events that made me want to know more. Life is a whirlwind, it’s a crazy ride that if by chance we wake up one day and realize that we had everything to do with it. Well, it’s sobering. But it’s also empowering. To realize that you don’t have to suffer. All you have to do is make a choice not to. But first you must let your life resurface, your memories, your past to be able to move forward. Because those events (traumatic or not) hold the key for you to move ahead. This is where people get stuck because they don’t want to open that can. They’d rather leave it closed. Honesty is something people battle with all the time. Honesty with the self is something that is rare. And it has so much rewards yet so little are willing to find out. But if you’ve thought about it more than twice I’d dare to say that you are already on your way. Because you cannot shove something back down once it has surfaced in your consciousness. So deep down it already should tell you that you want something. You want healing. You want health. You want good mental health.
I am a survivor of many things. I like to share my thoughts because I believe it makes a difference. We are all thinking creatures. We do it all day long. But sometimes life doesn’t go in the direction we want it to, and there is a reason for that. And whatever that reason is, is up to you. You’ll decide what that is in about two months down the road or maybe even a year from now. No one ever has to tell you. We all carry our own truth. When we are ready to hear it, we let it surface. The great thing about truth is that no one ever has to know our truth because inside we feel it. And feeling it is good enough. The great thing about feelings are that you cannot mistake them for what they are not.
So pay attention to what you feel because what you feel is what grows. Happiness, sadness, jealousy, it doesn’t matter. Some where inside of it is an answer and only we can figure that out. We can create more of it or we can lessen it and make it obsolete. It’s all up to us.
